The only people who know the POS market are the VARs, the Value Added Resellers who see similar businesses every day and know what will fit your situation. Trust me on this one – when you’re thinking POS, you need an expert in the field and if you think you can do it yourself, you’re wrong and will find out so at great expense.

Helping the Business Move

The Runit.com has really helped the restaurant grow. Now we are able to accept credit cards efficiently and wait on tables better. The customer reactions have all really been positive. I don’t know whether or not the wait staff appreciates all of this, but it really doesn’t matter. I work in retail and I’m in charge of the Runit.com. This includes handing money and credit cards, as well as returns and stuff like that. I guess, in the end, we turned out to be a great store for local shoppers. Once they knew about us, they came back to shop once it a while. That is enough to keep the business open and going.

For the longest we were taking the food orders by hand. It worked but man it took a long time. We were fine with it because we did not understand that there was anything better. Our customers got good service, and for the most part out orders came out correct. That all changed for the better when the owners told us that we were getting P.O.S systems and that we were going to be putting our orders in using this system. At first we were intimidated by this new and point of sale software from point of sale software that we were going to be using. However we soon found out that this system worked better that what we were doing before. We could swipe a credit card and take an order all from the same machine. Things came out of the kitchen faster and the orders were more accurate. I am now a fan of the system.
